How long does an examination take?
An eye examination usually takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the reason for the examination and the necessary tests.
What should I do in an eye medical emergency?
In this case, every minute counts! Call the practice immediately or go to the nearest ophthalmological emergency department – especially in case of sudden vision loss, pain or flashes of light.
When is it urgently necessary to see an eye doctor?
In case of sudden symptoms such as loss of vision, severe pain, flashes of light, blurred vision or injuries, an ophthalmologist should be contacted immediately.
I'm not sure if I should see an ophthalmologist about my case?
If you experience symptoms such as blurred vision, eye pain, redness or dizziness, an ophthalmological examination is always recommended.
How much does an eye doctor visit cost in Switzerland?
